6th Singapore International Photography Festival Open Call for Photobooks

Celebrating a decade of photography

Ten years since the festival’s inception in 2008, the 6th SIPF marks a milestone in the arena of art photography in Singapore and will feature an even greater diversity in photography from Southeast Asia and the world.

Open Call for Portfolio and Curatorial Projects has ended.

The results will be announced in June 2018 via email notification and will be featured on SIPF’s website in July 2018.

Photobook Category

With a brand-new photobook category in the Open Call, the festival aims to expand the reach of art photography and uncover new talents for the photography world.
The physical copy of your book must arrive at the SIPF Festival Office by 31 July 2018, all late entries or submissions without a physical book will be disqualified.

The submissions is open to all nationalities and can be based on any subject in these categories:


Portfolio
For photographers who are ready to showcase a complete body of work, the Open Call has featured photographers including Robert Zhao Renhui, Zhang Xiao, Mandy Barker and Boris Eldagsen.

Curatorial Projects
For emerging and independent curators committed to develop their professional practice in Southeast Asia.

Photobooks
Books have become a popular way of presenting and archiving photographic works in Asia. The inaugural photobooks is a platform for more photographers and publishers to showcase their work.
