As part of SEENTHESIS, DECK invites you, the educators to participate in two FREE workshops, conducted by the writer/artist/educator, Guo Yi Xiu.
1. POETIC PHOTOGRAPHY
(19th July, 5 pm – 7 pm)
Learn how to incorporate photography into poetry. Using the meaning and symbolism of the verses, participants will be able to capture images that intensifies the emotions of poetry.
Participants are to bring their camera or mobile phone with camera function.
Capacity: 6 participants.
2. 5 STEP PROCESS
(20th July, 10 am – 12 pm)
In this workshop, participants will understand how images can undergo various transformation of the meaning of your photographs through physical manipulation.
Participants are to submit a minimum of 2 digital images of something or someone that is important to them (Sunset, self-portrait, a significant moment). The image does not have to be positive, it could be something or someone that had merely affected you very much.

These workshops are based on the publication SEENTHESIS. Participants will learn how to utilise the resources for classroom teaching.
