Rest, In Peace is an installation conceptualised as a photobooth examining the psyche, environment and landscapes of its immediate site – Peace Center.
The work engages with publicly sourced and collected images as data of Peace Center in a speculative lens, where generative visual imaginations of Peace Centre can be produced through a Machine Learning algorithm. Interacting with the photobooth installation generates algorithmic re-imaginations of Peace Center for a photobooth image backdrop.
Rest, In Peace encourages visitors to rest, to remember and re-imagine Peace Center through their own collective memories and imaginations.
