Titled “To Measure the Depth of the Ocean” or “四海同春：新加坡现代摄影史 (1950s 至 1980s)”, the showcase narrates the development of modern photography in Singapore from the 1950s to 1980s through the lenses of five eminent photographers, namely Tan Lip Seng, Chua Soo Bin, Foo Tee Jun, Yip Cheong Fun and Loke Hong Seng.
The TRACE series is a research-driven showcase exploring areas of scholarship related to Singapore photography which may have been overlooked or understudied.
