Hiding in Singapore: The Journey Between
Through this powerful visual metaphor, Bolin highlights how individual stories have contributed to the nation’s vibrant identity. The artist invites us to reflect on Singapore’s transformation from a hub for early migrants to a thriving, dynamic society, underscoring the interplay between different cultures, ethnicities, and traditions.
Complementing these new photographic works is We Are Together, a series of sculptures inspired by the intersection of humanity and technology. The works echo Liu Bolin’s admiration for Singapore’s unity in diversity. As he reflects, “Singapore’s remarkable story of unity in diversity deeply moves me. Through this artwork, we’re creating a living testament to the nation’s harmonious multiculturalism- a visual celebration of different ethnicities, religious faiths, and cultures coming together as one.”
Join us in celebrating this unique artistic journey made together with our community and the artist.
