Kelvin Mun

Chairperson

Kelvin Mun, the Managing Director of AVS Technologies Pte Ltd, is a steadfast supporter for the visual arts in Singapore. Beyond his track record of success in the printing industry, he is a dedicated advocate for local artists, championing their pursuit of printing excellence in art prints. Proficient in Print Management and Channel Sales Development, including various digital printing technologies like 3D Printing, Kelvin has also ventured into product design and marketing under ALV!S.

Gwen Lee

Member and Executive Director

Gwen Lee, DECK’s Co-Founder and Executive Director, has been shaping Singapore’s photography arts landscape. In 2008, she co-founded 2902 Gallery, a commercial gallery for photography. She also established the Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF), now one of Southeast Asia’s longest-running photo festivals. Recognising her artistic impact, Gwen received accolades from the Japan Chamber of Commerce & Trade in 2010 and the Chevalier, Ordre des Arts et des Lettres conferred by France’s Ministry of Culture in 2022. In 2023, she was recognised in Singapore 40-over-40: Inspiring Women as a Social Contributor.

Jay Lau

Jay Lau, DECK’s Co-Founder and Executive Director, holds a professional background in the museum industry. In 2008, she co-founded 2902 Gallery and the Singapore International Photography Festival. Jay’s vocation in the arts ranges from exhibition execution, festival management to corporate relationship development with stakeholders. Drawing on over 15 years of industry experience, her instrumental resourcefulness and extensive network has brought diverse teams together to execute the organisation’s arts programming. Jay continues to be the driving force behind realising DECK’s mission.

Ho Hui May

Ho Hui May

Member

Ho Hui May serves as the Dean of the Office of Academic Affairs at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. A dedicated educator and administrator in higher education, Hui May is passionate about the arts, with a special focus on the transformative power of photography. In 2007, she won the First Prize in the Photography category at the 26th UOB Painting Of The Year Competition (2007). Committed to developing individuals, she thrives in teaching, mentoring, and coaching to connect, inspire, and foster growth within the arts community. Ho Hui May also chairs DECK’s Subcommittee for Organisation Remuneration.

Ho Tzu Yin

Ho Tzu Yin is the Managing Director at LAUD Architects Pte Ltd. In 2014, Tzu Yin and a team of architects from LAUD ventured into their first art gallery typology, designing DECK’s shipping container arts building, which won LAUD’s first President’s Design Award in 2015. As a firm advocate in the creative integration of architecture into its community context, Tzu Yin is leading the architectural vision for DECK’s new building. Ho Tzu Yin is also a member of DECK’s Subcommittee for Organisation Remuneration.

John Clang

John Clang

Member

John Clang is an accomplished visual artist, photographer, and filmmaker whose works have been exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide. His creations have been acquired as permanent collections in art institutions. In 2010, he achieved the distinction of being the first photographer to receive the Designer of the Year award at the President’s Design Award. John Clang is also a member of DECK’s Subcommittee for Organisation Remuneration.

Ryan Thomas Jacob

Member

Ryan Thomas Jacob is the Head of Legal at Meta for Central and South Asia. A graduate of the University of Exeter Law School, he furthered his expertise with a Master’s in Business from the Stockholm School of Economics. With a dynamic background, Ryan plays a pivotal role in shaping legal strategies and frameworks for Meta in the dynamic Central and South Asian region.

Ho Kah Meng

Ho Kah Meng has a proficient background in accountancy, serving as the Chief Financial Officer of GL Limited from 2014 to 2021. He has considerable experience in investment and asset management of hospitality assets in the Asia Pacific region while serving as Senior Vice President of GIC Real Estate Pte Ltd (2010 to 2014), Vice President for Kingdom Hotel Investments (2008 to 2010), and GIC Real Estate (2004 to 2008). He was also part of the Exco teams of the Raffles Hotel and Marriott Hotel in Singapore.

Dawn Yeong

Dawn Yeong

Arts Manager

Dawn Yeong has a proficient arts management background in exhibition management, stakeholder liaison and fundraising. She was part of the founding team of DECK, established in 2014, and has since been involved in managing the biennial Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF). In 2022, she was invited to Focus Photography, an international professional programme organised by the Institut Français in Paris. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Sociology) from Singapore Management University and a Diploma in Arts Business Management from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Isaiah Cheng

Isaiah Cheng

Programmes Manager (Education)

Isaiah Cheng leads DECK’s education portfolio, producing visual literacy and photography workshops for primary to tertiary levels schools, art programmes for the public, and professional programmes for artist capability development. As an experienced cultural producer, he worked at the National Arts Council for Singapore Art Week in 2022 and 2023, and co-produced Public Art projects under the Public Art Trust. Isaiah holds a BA (Hons) in Photography from the Institute of Photography, Falmouth University (Southwest of England). He is also a practising artist, working across photography, moving image, and performance.

Lim Su Fang

Lim Su Fang

Business Development and Fundraising Manager

Lim Su Fang, an accomplished communicator in mass media, has worked for both Mediacorp and Singapore Press Holdings. Her portfolio, spanning two decades, has honed her skills in storytelling and sparking conversations across multiple platforms and industries. This includes co-founding a startup that offered innovative solutions to support foodpreneurs during the pandemic. Su Fang brings this wealth of industry experience to DECK as the Business Development and Fundraising Manager, focusing on developing fundraising strategies that contribute to the organisation’s sustainability.

Angela Wong

Accountant Assistant

With over 30 years of experience in accountancy, Angela Wong serves as the Accountant Assistant at DECK. In this capacity, she ensures the organisation’s financial transparency and compliance with charity governance standards.
