About

On view in WHAT REMAINS are extended art works created by third year Photography majors from the Photography and Digital Imaging Program, in the School of Art, Design, and Media at NTU. These photographers have been part of the Extended Image studio workshop taught by Visiting Associate Professor Meridel Rubenstein. Encouraged to expand their ideas into time and space, they’ve constructed meaning by using sequential and moving imagery, mixing mediums, and creating installations with disparate but related materials. Coincidentally each, of the extended works on exhibit, explores the ephemeral nature of our time on earth by questioning the nature of what remains.
