The artist is interested in investigating displacements, disorientation and discovery, all perhaps to mirror a path to understanding a deeper sense of place & identity.
A Studio of One’s Own is a series of weekly online dialogue sessions that seeks to reach out internationally to the quiet voices of Southeast Asia, catching up on their changing creative routines having been confined to their own home space. In casual conversation with DECK, the invited artists will share their thoughts on creativity and creation under lockdown and the impact of quarantine on their respective practices and involvement in the scene.
